Chapter 7 Earthwhile Tools

Earthwhile Tools

“Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”
Lao Tzu (570-490 B.C.)     Chinese Founder of Taoism

Amazing! … This guy was around 2500 years ago!!!

I need to build my own personal strategy to reach the Plateau of Positive+.  I want to build a home there.  (I may get a bit metaphorical here … I’m trying to visualize this concept by using a physical world image.) I’ll need some good, earthwhile tools to sow my garden with seeds of Positivity.  I’ll need to learn new processes, new methods. Besides a frequent feeding regimen for my Positivity, I’ll also need to establish some preventative routines to keep the Negativity pests at bay. Once I produce a bountiful garden, I’ll be able to start helping more people to the Plateau. My garden is designed to feed a lot of people.

“One person working with the divine will affect thousands of people who are not.”
Summer with the Leprechauns

I would love to see what the dreams were of people 2500 years ago! I bet I would learn a thing or two from them…

What a wonderful idea… The harvesting of dreams. I wish there were a place to go to watch the dreams of your ancestor’s unfold. What did my grandfather dream of as a young man? What did his grandfather dream? Makes me feel kind of small to think in these terms… What a relief!
