Chapter 8.2 Papa D’s Test Review …..

Papa D’s Test Review

“What we have to learn to do, we learn by doing.”
Aristotle (384 BC – 322 BC) Ancient Greek Philosopher

So you see, the question of  “ What is the purpose of life?” is really rather obvious … and can be so simple.  The purpose in life is to have a purpose.  (Have I finally Mastered the Obvious or what?) I hope I have found a noble purpose for myself.

To close and summarize, here is a simplified guide to my belief system.  I need to build on it, maintain a focus on it, and actively model it each day. I need to repeat it and practice it until I learn it … I need to live it.

  • I Am My Only Ancestor … hence, I own my responsibility.
  • The Purpose of my Life is To Create Positive Energy.
  • My best weapon: Don’t allow myself to be Negative.
  • Energy attracts itself: Positive will generate more positive; Negative will take what it can get.
  • Fear is certainly The Devil … d’evil of men’s minds.
  • Positive Energy is unlimited, infinite … you can give it freely.
  • Have Faith that Goodness will happen and it will.
  • Employ Earthwhile Tools to do good things for myself … and for others.
  • Stay on The Plateau of Pos + and throw ropes to my 150.
  • Each encounter has a purpose, be receptive to the signs, let my instincts guide me.
  • Absorb Music and Appreciate Beauty … Create my own.
  • Creativity generates Happiness, Learning provides the fuel.
  • Smile and smile and smile … and mean it.

I’ve staked my piece of land on the Plateau of Pos +.  I’m building my home there.  On one side is a bountiful vista of Nature’s Beauty, on the other side is the Sea of Creativity.  Music will always be playing in my house, kicking my soul.  The windows will stay open so that the warm breeze of Learning will swirl through my house.  My guard dog Joy is in the yard, keeping negative intruders away.

The house will never be completed.  The roof will leak at times, the plumbing will go bad (you count on this one), but I’m going to start fixing them fast.  I will focus my efforts working on a large porch in the front and spend very little time in the back.

When I get my home partially built, maybe I’ll write you again and forward some new directions on where you can find me on the Plateau of Positive +.  Maybe you will come over  (I hope you don’t have to climb up) for a visit …

“One if by land, and two if by sea.”
Paul Revere’s Ride Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882)

The easiest way to get here … but certainly not the only way … is by the path that leads from the Sea.  Follow d’lights on the path that leads to the Plateau of Positive +.

“There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune.
Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound
in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat.
And we must take the current when it serves,
or lose our ventures.”
William Shakespeare (1564-1616) English Playwright
